Imperial College doet een aantal verschillende onderzoeken naar microdosing. Hierbij zit ook het eerste wetenschappelijke onderzoek naar de effectiviteit van microdosing dat gebruikmaakt van EEG scans om de neurologische mechanismen achter de effecten zichtbaar te maken. Via traditionele cognitieve testen en enquêtes wordt in beeld gebracht hoe lage doseringen psychedelica effect hebben op stemming, cognitieve functies en perceptie. Ook het eeuwenoude Chinese spel Go zal worden ingezet om te achterhalen of LSD een positief effect heeft op intuïtieve patroonherkenning en creativiteit.
Deze onderzoeken zijn van grote betekenis voor de toekomst van microdosing.

There is also evidence on OCD treatment with cognitive-coping therapy by changes in neuroplasticity – learning effects in the brain. this was measured with MRI scan which says maybe more about the actual activation patterns due to treatment? just a suggestion. the link to the paper is here:
